Warkworth Riverbank Enhancement Group

A walkway to the former Wilsons Cement works has been envisaged for many years and it is the goal of the 'Riverbank Enhancement Group' to finally get this project completed.

 

It is intended to construct the walkway to facilitate; cyclists, strollers, wheel chairs and pedestrians as per the width of the existing walkway which leads to Lucy Moore Park.

 

As much as practical, it will follow the historic path defined by the water pipeline that cement workers traversed each day along the riverbank.
